Welcome Back from Campus Activities and Civic Engagement

 Purple Knights,

Welcome back! I hope that this finds you refreshed and ready to take on the Spring semester. On behalf of the Office of Campus Activities and Civic Engagement and the Division of Student Affairs, we are excited to have you back on campus and are feeling the energy of the new semester. There are so many wonderful things in store for you, both inside and outside the classroom.  I am looking forward to sharing that experience with you in the coming months.

Getting involved outside of the classroom is an important step to making UB feel like your “home away from home”.  Join a club, attend events, and engage with the many faculty and staff members who are committed to seeing you succeed. I invite you to attend the Activities Fair on Tuesday, January 24th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center Social Room.  Here you will have the opportunity to meet the 70+ clubs and organizations that are active on campus and get a preview of some of the events being held this semester.

If you have any questions about student life and getting involved or just want to say “hi”, please visit the Campus Activities and Civic Engagement Office in room 231 of the Student Center.  I look forward to meeting you throughout the semester!
