International Festival is here!

University of Bridgeport’s Annual International Festival is celebrating its 40th year – that’s our ruby anniversary!  Just as our students come here from lands far, far away, we too have the opportunity to travel to incredible places … but really, as Dorothy would suggest, there’s no place like home, is there?

The Office of Campus Activities and Civic Engagement, in collaboration with the International Festival Committee is hosting a week-long series of events that highlight and celebrate the diversity of our student body.  With students from almost 90 different countries, our campus is a true melting pot of culture!  The week will culminate on Saturday, April 9th with an evening of cultural performances, flag raising and tabletop displays from around the world. We invite you to attend this showcase of talent from around that world!

Tickets are $3 for students, $5 for staff and faculty and $7 for guests.  Tickets can be purchased online at http://bridgeport.universitytickets.com

For more information, contact Kelli Meyer (kmeyer@bridgeport.edu) or Beck Lamb (rlamb@my.bridgeport.edu).
