Leadership Awards Nominations

Nominations are now open to nominate a student, faculty or staff member for the Annual Leadership Awards Banquet!  Each year we take the time to celebrate those that make impactful contributions to the UB community, and this is your chance to nominate someone that is worthy.

GRE Prep Course


The Princeton Review has teamed up with the University of Bridgeport chapter of Phi Kappa Phi to help you prepare for your grad school entrance exam, the GRE. If you’re gearing up to take the GRE and want to find out how to maximize your score, join us Thursday, April 6 at 12:20 p.m. in the Discovery Pavilion on the 1st floor of the Wahlstrom Library.  Pizza will be served! 

Topics will include:

  • Exclusive Princeton Review test-taking strategies to help you score higher

6:00 p.m. Pi Sigma Alpha Colloquium: The Role of Media in Conflict Resolution. For the 11th consecutive year, a student-written proposal for a Chapter Activity Grant has been awarded to UB by Pi Sigma Alpha honor society. The grant of $1,200 will be used to fund “The Role of Media in Conflict Resolution,” a colloquium to be hosted at the University of Bridgeport. Three experts, including a guest from the United Nations, will participate. Please join us for a remarkable and engaging discussion of current global conflicts and the role of media in seeking resolution. ABC, Tower Room.
