 Do you want to become a student leader and take part in the decision making process for the University? Well this is a great leadership opportunity that you will greatly benefit from! In SGA you will be the voice of the student body and the liaison between the administration and the students. And guess what? Applications are out for ALL Student Government positions!

Student Spaceflight Experiments Program

Calling all undergraduate students! Do you want to be a part of UB history? Looking to have fun while building your resume and learning new skills? Sign-up to be a part of the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) Mission 12, a nationwide initiative that engages student teams led by a faculty team leader in the design of real microgravity experiments. UB is looking for 30-40 undergrad students to get involved. One UB experiment will be chosen to be part of the first UB payload to the International Space Station (ISS), and would launch on a space ferry from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station adjoining NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, in late Spring 2018.  If you would like to participate, or receive more information about this research opportunity, please contact Dr. Jessica Nelson (jesnelso@bridgeport.edu) or Dr. Ruba Deeb (rubadeeb@bridgeport.edu) Come by our table in Marina Dining Hall on Tuesday to meet team leaders and find out more!

Come be a part of the Orientation Ceremony of the 'Student Entrepreneur Center'. A great platform for students with 'Business Ideas' to start their own company or become an asset at someone else's company. Talents of all majors are welcome. Students will also get a chance to meet one-on-one with our dedicated mentors who are pioneers in the startup business world, lawyers who will assist you in how to legally go ahead establishing one's company and a chance to interact with previous student entrepreneurs who successfully managed to start their own start-up/businesses.
