Studies show that both students and faculty consider plagiarism among the top concerns when discussing student writing. Please join us for a synchronous panel discussion about plagiarism that will explore important questions, such as: What exactly is plagiarism? How can students learn to avoid unintentionally plagiarizing? How can plagiarism detection software help? What can professors do to help students develop the skills necessary for avoiding plagiarism? What are the thoughts and emotions that arise around the issue for both students and faculty members?
Moderators Lauren Humphrey and Tara Maroney from UB Online will guide the discussion and accept questions from online participants.
Please join in!
