Hult Prize

The Hult Prize challenge isn’t about inventing the energy systems of the future but making a plan to deploy the innovations, that already exists in the form of tens of thousands of prototypes, patents, and pilot projects, at scale by listening closely to customer needs, designing scalable business models, and executing plans that are capable of transforming the lives of 10 million people through the use of energy. The challenge focuses on six principal dimensions: Connectivity, Education, Agriculture, Water, Health, and Mobility.

What’s Next?

  1. Form a team of 3-4 UB students
  2. Brainstorm an idea that aligns with the challenge
  3. Register online at hultprizeat.com/bridgeport by November 27th, 2017
  4. Give a 5-minute pitch on December 3rd, 2017

The top three UB teams will win cash. First place winner will also represent our university in the regionals in Boston and will have a chance to win $1 million in seed money.
