The weather and leaves are changing with the season. It is an exciting time to be a part of the University of Bridgeport Family! October is also a time to “come home.” Join us October 5-7, 2018 for Homecoming Weekend – UB’s annual gathering of alumni, students, families, faculty, staff, and friends! We are especially excited about our first-ever Siblings Night on Friday, October 5. Brothers and sisters (age 13+) are invited to campus to enjoy a wide variety of activities and get a taste of college life. This is a great time to make lasting memories, enjoy a night away from home, and have a ton of fun! Click here to fill out the participation form. The UB family is also preparing for mid-term exams. Check in on your student to see how classes are going. If your student is having roadblocks in their studies, refer them to the Tutoring and Learning Center and their Academic Advisor. Also, be sure to encourage your students to get involved on campus. This is the time of year where clubs and organizations are in full force with planning events to make campus vibrant and exciting. This is a chance for students to build relationships with upper class students who can be an example of leadership and academic excellence to new students.
