Scribe Newspaper
The Office of the Dean of Students is now accepting applications for the 2017/2018 Editor-in-Chief position of The Scribe, the campus newspaper. The Scribe is published approximately one time a month during the school year (fall and spring semesters).
Applicants must be UB undergraduate students, majoring in Mass Communication or a relevant field and previous experience in journalism is desired. $750 per semester compensation will be provided to the successful candidate. Applicants must submit the following documents,via email as ONE FILE ATTACHMENT, to Dean Edina Oestreicher, deanofstudents@bridgeport.edu, by Friday, March 24, 2017:
- Cover letter, showing your interest in the position and explaining why you are a good fit (one page).
- Complete resume/CV, indicating your academic status and major at UB (two pages).
- One writing sample, preferably for journalism purposes (750-1000 words).
